Brief: We're looking for a 3D Props Artist who's able to join our projects on a freelance basis. Your job will mainly be to texture already modeled and UV unwrapped 3D assets, and render images with those assets. The rendered images will be used as product's preview images. You should have a great understanding of…
Monitors emit a lot of light, bright white light directly shining in you face is a bit distracting. Neutral colors obviously do a better job at not distracting you eyes from an image, grey/dark grey work really well for that. Dark sites are better in darker environments because your eyes don't have to adjust how much light…
Hi everyone!! As I continue to add some more work to my website I have been trying to figure out the best way to display my images, and I would love some feedback! Here is my site: www.beth-carter.com Mainly, on each project page, would it be more effective to have images in a slideshow, or one after another for people to…

BringMeASunkist pointed out that the bottom image was too rough, so I removed the roughness and the end result was the top image. (it seems poly count put the two images really close together, making it look like one). Here it is…
seriously, host the images somewhere else. An adobe Photoshop contact sheet would be more useful than flickr. I cannot stand how it doesn't show you full sized images unless you click the full sized image button on each image. you should watermark each image with name/contact info, because looking at the images I have no…
Some parts could be thicker, some angles could use adjustment. It helps to choose 1 point on the model, then flick your eyes back and forth between the two images.
