This is a WIP of the main charcter for a student project I am working on. I could use some critiques, I don't feel that it flows well and I'm not sure what to change or add. Oh and the reason the two gaunlets are different is because eventually the right one will be a weapon of sorts.

Have to agree with @Noren , @ZacD , and @pior : both the contiguous unwrap and compound curvature of the shape are contributing to the distortion in a way that's almost unavoidable with a [tiling] texture only approach.
