Hello. So I've encountered a bit of a problem here with max. Never had it before. I'm modeling this bike and the viewport keeps showing me these wireframe ghosts of Christmas past. I attached a screenshot of what I'm talking about. I am running 3Ds Max 2012. Viewport is set on Nitrous driver. Any help would be appreciated
While they did take the links down, they still host the files. So you can just take an existing link and modify it for whatever version you want. Here is August 2011: http://download.udk.com/UDKInstall-2011-08-BETA.exe
I remember when seeing a demo at GDC the viewport background in 2012 had a gradient, like that in maya or mudbox. is there a way to set that in max? I'm having some problems with the lighting in Max 2010. The problem being that everything appears to be way too bright. With no lighting within the scene and all the settings at their default stasis, this is what I'm getting from a standard render; The render looks the same with a skylight within the scene too. The funny…

It's great and all but it's limited right now. I need to be able to create a human character rig and a first person arm rig for a game in UE4. Does…

Hello guys! I searched in the Internet and couldn't really figure out a way how to import a object from Maya to CryEngine. My Maya Version is 2014, and I downloaded a CryEngine to Maya Converter or something, and it said that there is no supported maya version found. However I really like the CryEngine, and i wanna work…
Anyone else checking the page every day to see when applications open? I'm polishing my portfolio and plan on applying for various 3D and 2D positions. Apparently they pay their interns and setup housing for them as well, which I think is absolutely wonderful. If anyone is curious, you can read the University Relations FAQ…
The new tools in maya 2016 and max 2016 are really advanced. Also zbrush's UV master does a decent job for some things too. If you're taking a long time unwrapping things - it's not the tools.
Hi there guys, I am going to render a model for a job presentation and as I am not good in rendering and I also got up for Maya 2016, I am getting in trouble doing the render test for my shaders. Basically, when I render my stuff, it gets like a strange tesselation on the specular light part. Anyone can help me to solve…
