I remember when seeing a demo at GDC the viewport background in 2012 had a gradient, like that in maya or mudbox. is there a way to set that in max?
EDIT: and while im here, ill ask another question.
is there a way to have 3ds max show thumbnail previews in vista? the computer that i use that has XP will show a thumb of the scene when you go into thumbnail file view mode. in vista (and ill assume 7 as well) it just shows the icon
