Does the aiImage node in maya use the luminance as alpha by default?
It's in the title. Some textures with the maya image node would need to be RAW color space and alpha as luminance, Some do not need this. The aiImage node that I'd really like to start using doesn't have an option for luminance/alpha. Does anyone know? -

It's set up to use lightmaps by default now. Less work for you. -

Need help with adding default textures in Maya for reference.
I am new to doing items for Dota 2. The only program I know well is Maya and Zbrush. I have had no problem opening the models in Maya using the Maya folder. Why is default Unity so terrible for Modular Level Design?
I'm trying to create accurately measured "snap-fit" assets but it is do difficult to duplicate and position assets, the grid snap doesn't work at all (constantly getting incorrect positions) and duplicating and rotating assets is a nightmare.
