We need multiple versions of the lowpoly. Polycount and uvs are changing. We store everything in the highres to get a consistent look. We handpaint a decimated highres in mudbox with some Substance magic on top. Its much easier to paint a highres cause you can read the shapes much better. We wont work that way on a… -

I think people are a bit hesitant to throw out their prices just like that, thats what negotiations are for =P but, if you want good quality work I would argue youl at least pay a few hundred bucks. and again, so many variables are in play here. is it for mobile? lowpoly? handpainted? realistic? Rigged? PBR? last gen? -

You could get most of the material definition and base details done in SD or ddo in a few minutes after the initial setup but you will still need to handpaint a bunch of details to get to that quality indeed (the texts, tags, small specific and localized paint chips etc). I guess that's why we are creating Substance…
