Anyone ever experienced this when doing dynamesh booleans in zbrush? Basically using this technique [ame] https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MVHPSnBlIrU[/ame] I could get rid of it by using a smooth brush but that would be cheating and imperfect. :poly142:
Hello I'm new to the forum... Hope this is the right place to post. I'm trying to relearn zbrush using dynamesh, having a hard time boxing in the human form. Any tutorials or links that can help... can't find anything but timelapse video....
i recently finished this sci-fi soldier sculpt in zbrush 4R4. An animator friend has expressed interest in rigging and animating it. I'm kinda at a lost as to the steps involved in the process of making my model rigging ready. my subtools are between 1-3mil polys in dynamesh for details and he uses maya for the riggging…
Hey all, As you can see I made the mistake of not connecting/welding the sides of this ornamental piece. Is there a way to get a clean dynamesh "seam" from these " non welded " trims ?
This is a character i am working on as a side project. I am still at dynamesh part. i am stuck at this point after which i dont know what should i do to add more detail. Can someone pinpoint me in the right direction? Thanks.
Do you mean you're dynameshing? Or decimating? I'm not sure why it would be doing that unless you're using dynamic subdivision as well (press D after dynameshing)
Ugh, I was doing so well my current project until this. I'm trying to bash up my super-clean high polys in ZBrush for normals when Dynamesh goes takes my high poly: And turns it into this: Please tell me I'm doing something wrong and that this isn't a "feature."
Hey guys, kind of an age old problem, but does anyone have a solution to being able to dynamesh past 7+mil verts without the model exploding? I just upgraded to 2018, but that doesn't seem to be working either. I've tried the typical uniform and scaling the mesh, but no luck. Thoughts?
