Nice dumpster, only crit I can think to give is that I would imagine spray paint and the paint on the bin would be on or off, I'm not sure if its just me but I always felt that whenever people gradient the transparency of paint it seems to begin to not feel like... paint. Don't get me wrong, paint will fade in a gradient… -
problem during painting
While painting in SP, from time to time weird artifact shows up. Black blocky areas that spread randomly across entire mesh. As far as i know, it happens randomly, but when it happens it can be reproduced by painting in specific spot. Deleting said layer usually helps, but is not always helpful. Advice on farming out my 3D printer for jobs
Times are super tight and my wife reminded me I have this monster just sitting idle in our side room right now when it could be printing stuff for people. However... I've never commissioned or ordered a 3D print, much less sold one, so I'm not sure where to find clients for that kind of thing or what the average market… -

The best way to learn any skill is to start from the ground up. Begin learning 2D painting before you try to apply that to 3D. Even better, learn traditional painting before you try digital painting. Learning 2D will teach you how and where to apply light to an object to emphasize the parts of the object you want to appear… -

Maya's paint tool, or lack thereof!
Alritghy all, I've been rigging my character for about 3 hours now, using maya's paint tool to paint the weights... but it is just not sticking. Every now and then it keeps on bugging out and killing all the weight information, which means I have to go back and re-paint... only to run into the same issue 30 minutes later.… -
