Thanks guys, I shall give the suggestions a try. I am very new to this, so sorry with all the questions. What more, I have created a crate in 3ds Max, applied uv unwrap, and created the 2 attached images. Is this the correct way doing this sort of stuff for cry engine? I can only apply the normal within cry engine too. -

Cryo Monster Prison Cell
This is a cryogenic prison cell prop for a huge monster in a level I'm working on with my MOD group. I just wanted to get some feed back on the looks of it. Does it look menacing or creepy? I added the mop bucket for size definition. Thank for any comments! -

As far as dynamic lighting goes, CryEngine is a good choice. Programming in UDK is MUCH better than Cry though, for great documentation and a helpful community. I personally would pick UDK for this reason alone. With some work you can get a decent day night cycle in UDK, while imo it would take much more time to get the… -
