I've never used snapping when making inorganic objects... I just make sure all the points line up (not hard if you start right) ... failing that, Absolute transform type-ins get the verts in the right place. Then again, I don't like anything but a 0.5 degree angle snap
Been a while since I've done cloth. I think this is what you need. Or a nCloth Transform constraint using a locator instead of polygons. https://knowledge.autodesk.com/support/maya/learn-explore/caas/CloudHelp/cloudhelp/2016/ENU/Maya/files/GUID-E63DA358-F904-4FD9-B45C-4046AB0D97EB-htm.html
Thnx man, super usefull! Maybe its an idea to add a freeze transform at the end of the symmetry/mirror script. Had my own sort of similar script and ran into the situation a couple of times where I used it on my highpoly and the normals were reversed on export because it was -1. Just a suggestion, cheers!
1.7.2 Changes: * [Layers] Allow to specify default tilling for fill layers Fixes: * [Export] Sketchfab export doesn't work anymore * [Layer] Bilinear filtering is applied even on Fill without any transformation * [Tool] Poor performances using substance with image inputs in projection mode * [Tool] Material picker is broken
I guess I meant something a little more like this: http://imgur.com/rwoif48 Rather than this: http://imgur.com/R69mfky Its true I can have all islands viewable in UV mode but then I lose the ability to manipulate or transform by object select without making everything else disappear.
Ah my mistake, I'm still on 2012 and the texture resolution option is in configure driver This is one of those problems everybody who starts using 3ds max inevitably runs into Other fun ones: Losing your transform gizmo by accidentally pressing x and locking your object by accidentally pressing space
Hi Blender 2.9 I am having trouble with inserting a pole bone on the elbow joint. Everything goes well till I make the chain length 1. The bone axis(es) have been unified to face +Y and transform history set to zero. Am following a tute and studied that part quite a bit but haven't found a solution. Any help appreciated.
I designed, modeled and animated a transforming sci-fi turret. I was proud, but then I realized it's just a gray object floating in the void. I don't know how to tackle colors or the background. And I want to make something that doesn't look too basic that would detract from the turret, nor do I want to spend too much time…
Hey guys! So this is my first thread here and i was looking for a good oportunity to bring something important and something which i need.
