I was wondering if marmoset could be used for architectural visualization animations like udk.I understand it is being used mostly for still image renders. I really don't want to go through the pains of learning a game engine like udk.A realtime renderer like marmoset seems more appropriate.
Ive been looking around for a bit and cant seem to find an answer. I would like to make a tree like this but i cant figure out how to bake mayas paint FX to a texture like seen in step 1. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
So say take a texture like so (pretend this is tiling horizontally): and say you wanted it to wrap around a pillar - like so (like the base area). How would you go about wrapping this around the pillar and having it match up perfect?
I've just started playing around with terrain for the first time but I would like to get some interesting weather effects going. Is it possible to give my terrain materials a height map and paint things like snow over the terrain, or does terrain not support vertex painting like a mesh does?
