Using tablets for modeling
So I know a few people here have said that they use their tablets for modeling and just about every other mouse related task on their computers. I've been trying to do this to see how I like it but, man, clicking with the pen results in a lot of mis-clicks and unintentional double clicks. Is it just something I have to get… -
Graphic Tablet size
Hello everyone I am looking to buy a new Graphic Tablet. I am currently using a Wacom Intuos Small for sculpting in Zbrush. I am using a 34" monitor and I am not planning on transporting it a lot (never). I was wondering what size of tablet I should get? Should I get a Intuos Pro Medium or Large? I also use to use my tablet with Max all the time. Had too since my internship at SOE they gave me a cintiq to use so it was skin or swim! But now I have to use Maya and use my tablet with it every day. If you are use to the tablet with Maya I 100% recommend the DRaster Switcher for Max also. -
Tablet care and feeding
So I just picked up an Intuous 4 tablet and I'm really liking it! It's a huge step up from my little Bamboo (which served me well for years). I know the bamboo got a little grungy at the end there so I'm wondering ... how do people care for their tablets? Or do you, at all? Is it fine to just let it sit out and gather… -

I reckon there is no need to go fancy with a tablet unless you are stepping over to a cintiq. I have 2 bamboos running on win 10 and a newer comic tablet. The tablet is app sensitive so with zbrush it steps over to a central pad operation area. Also pretty affordable. -

You essentially have two options; Wacom, and UC-logic. Wacom tablets are the most commonly used.
