In max is there a script/way to add a handle at 45 degrees to the move select tool? In 2d orthographic view this would mean a 45 degree angle pointer arrow in addition to the normal x/y/z handles and maybe in the 3d view an angle pointer in all the 45 degree planes. Is this possible in max?
Hi all, I have this tilable texture which i made in 3ds max 2012. Everything works perfect and seamless. Until I rotate my texture_plane 45 degrees. I also tried rotating my brick layout. But nothing seems to work. How is this possible same file I only rotate the RTT_plane and the tiling doesn't work any more?. I tried…
Hi! I've been trying to use trimsheet to texture some of the parts of this mesh. Precisely, I've try to use Olsen Morten techniques to create trimsheet with a 45 degree angle but no matter how I tweak it I'm still having trouble with the dark seems... (it gets worst when having AO on top of it...) Maybe it's the way I made…
I know triplanar is XYZ-axis projected which is basically using vertex normal I guess, but I cant really its realtionship between 45 degrees angle because it's more visible at 45 angle degrees?
Hi everyone ! I just finished a new piece for my portfolio and I would like to share with you and get your advices. It's a "hitman suitcase" with a "Beretta.45" , I put some " " because it's not from the game "Hitman" and it's not exactly a Beretta.45 it's more I took the insipiration of this gun. I'm pretty happy about…
45 for for skinning is pretty optimal. If 0 is arms at the side and 90 is T-Pose then 45 is right in the middle. The shoulders need all the help they can get. It makes modeling a bit wonky so I normally suggest model in T, and before unwrapping pose them at 45.
Hi , I'm a beginner in 3D Modeling and this is my second time when I model a gun . I want some advices / critiques about my model . It's an USP 45 Low Poly , I want to know if it's modeled correctly and if i could use it in a game . The model has 2,230 Tris. Here's some photos :
So I have just started getting into making skins. I was trying to figure out what maps to where on the UMP-45 and when I tested it in-game the grip, magazine and a couple of other things were not textured. Any way to get this to work?
Hi everyone, New for the forum, and have been working for a while on a HK UMP .45 that I like to show you guys/girls, and get some feedbacks on what I can do to improve on both modelling and texturing. At the moment I will not change my lowpoly, I will just take the feedbacks of it for my next project. :) Here´s the pics,…
