For whatever reason I get frequent TDRs in Maya 2016; some are fatal, some aren't. I have my TdrDelay set to 10 seconds so most don't brick my application but it gets pretty annoying. I started to notice this after upgrading to Windows 10. Has anyone else experienced this?
Hey guys, I'am having some issues regarding Maya 2016 and shaderfX, first, i can't figure it out how to set the color management to work with shaderFX, the best result i got was by disabling the color management. Then, when i connect a normal map to the shader everything becomes white. Any advices?
I recently upgraded to 3ds Max 2016 and the past few days if I maximize a viewport, it turns white and there is nothing to view. When I revert back to four screens, I can see what I was working on. The grid, models, etc. Possible glitch?

Am working on a customized HK-416 rifle. I have just finished the highpoly model of it and still working on its lowpoly. Most of the model is modeled traditionally with sub-d modeling inside 3ds max and then got everything polished in Zbrush. Your feedback regarding anything is always appreciated!.
Can you set the new Nitrous Selection Preview Highlights (3dsmax 2016) in Maxscript? Preferences Settings -> Viewports -> Selection/Preview Highlights (Checkboxes) I can't find the interface to these settings.

Does anyone found anything truly new and useful there ? I see Splatter v2 allows dense details with tiny scale but still does same aliased depth combine and bad alpha for something like tiny twigs or grass blades. I am still using old fx-map nodes instead . More controllable and easier to modify. Anything other new and…
