Maya 2016 - Mental ray now where to be found?

Hi,
So I just installed Maya 2016 and for some reason I am unable to find mental-ray anywhere, I looked in the Plugin manger and in the installation directory's, basically everywhere.

Anyone know where i can find it?

I'm installing the 2016 demo now so I can let you know. I didn't do anything special to the install options. Autodesk's download tool could have screwed up on you if there is a lot of download traffic with it being brand new. You have the option to download it different ways.

I've found mentalray installer in 'Download other Autodesk software product(s)' section on the bottom of my account Products & Services page.

That's just weird that they would do that. They're kind of giving Nvidia the middle finger with doing that.

EDIT: It's not in the demo version either. They're basically telling new users to find their own renderer. Anyone know if Max is the same way?

@Count Vertsalot when installing it I had no option for mental ray at all.

@Jason Young I know, i found that post but could not find the link or download he was talking about.

@Count Vertsalot Yeah that is pretty weird, im all ways use to testing out my composition with mental ray but if they don't include it looks like I will just totally move over to vray

You can get Pixar's Renderman for Maya for free now too if you want an alternative.

It was separated out in hopes of reducing the install executable footprint of maya

Really? It's a 47mb download and only a 187mb footprint once installed.
