Hi, Here's some images of my latest environment work. Made with UE4, modelled in Maya, sculpted with Mudbox and textured with substance painter/designer. You can see more high res screens and a fly through here: https://www.artstation.com/artwork/aPkm0
Hey guys, just had a quick session in worldmachine and UE4 and here are the results. This thing covers around 32km x 18km something in total area, so yeah its pretty huge and dynamically lit. This'll be my 1st venture with WM and I'm quite liking it for its results. Share your thoughts
I have an issue with using hair in UE4, I am trying to bring my character into the reflections demo, but when I add my hair, just a simple material with the translucent blend mode and a texture with the alpha dictating the opacity, I get the glowing beard of destiny. Any ideas how to fix this or a good hair material?
Hi all, wanted to share this finished piece I recently did in UE4. I've been using the engine more and more for concept art and decided to do a very Miyazaki inspired piece. The original idea had many more shots but I just ran outta gas doing these scenes. Hope you all enjoy!
I recall in UDK that I could set the desired pixels per meter texture density, and then there was a render mode that displayed each asset's density in shades blue-green-red. Is there something similar in UE4?
Rigger for games needed for a university project (September to April/May) for a stylised short film in UE4. Just human rigs unless we have loads of spare time and need others. You can email me at bethanyfox98@yahoo.co.uk with your portfolio and any questions.Thank you!
Hi everyone! I'm taking the UE4 Modular Environments course from CGMA and I wanted to document my progress since it's been a while since I've made a project of this scale. My environment will be a latin american colonial kitchen interior, with some of the outside corridor that the houses of that periodused to have. Though…
Hey Polycount! So I'm creating a Chinese temple with UE4 (or maybe UDK, I originally planned this project for UDK but with the free release of UE4, I'll switch). I'm still in the blocking out process in Maya but I have some higher detail props in the scene already. Right now, I'm actually thinking of cutting this project…
Hi! I decided to take on a new challenge and learn a new engine. With this scene I plan to create the diner and a small part of the outside. Here are a few W.I.P shots within UE4 feel free to give your feedback on how I can improve as an artist.
Hi, this is a project I started a few days after Christmas I wanted to get the biggest parts of the scene done first so have been focusing on the UE4 materials and the most used textures
