Hello guys, need some critique on texturing these wooden doors, i create them in 2015 and lately i started polishing textures from my old works, i already know that i should make more visible dirt crevices and convex borders, also i will add some foliage and grass between ground stone. C&C :) Here is marmoset viewer for…
The door done. Hope you like it :) Few days of work as I didn't do it non-stop. Modeled in Wings 3D, both High and Low poly models. Baking done in Xnormal and rendering in Marmoset. There was suppose to be a handle, but I had messed up a part of that model appearantly sometime in the early stages of making it. Therefore,…
Hi All, I'm trying to apply a texture to a simple Door that I've unwrapped in Substance Designer. If I use Material Blend, I obtain a wrong result as stated in the Picture attached. How can I apply the entire Texture to the SVG that represent my UV Space? I can do that only using Transform2D, with a very approximate…
Heyyaawl, this is a castle door i've been working on this week to give my portfolio some much needed environment love. It's rendered in marmoset and has 2x 2048 maps on it. I'm gonna keep this project small but any tips or critique would be very very welcome. Also hello, I used to post on gameartisans a wee bit but i've…
Hi all, A while back I stumbled on an online video using 3ds max on how to model a door or a hatch hinge. I have been searching for the past hour and could not find it either here on PC or through Google. If anyone has any idea, please let me know. Thanks a million :)
http://blogs.theprovince.com/2013/10/08/pixar-canada-shuts-its-doors-in-vancouver/ I hope everyone recovers, but I would think with a big name on there resume, they won't have too much trouble finding a job.
Just a bit too noisy in my humble opinion. Too much dirt on the surface, like @daniellooartist mentioned, why would it be on the door and not on the corners? 4 textures for one door is an overkill. One would suffice. But overall, good job.
Hey all, I crated this door in Photoshop using nDo2 to brush up my texturing skills and test new workflows etc. The bricks were made in Zbrush. Here's how it's looking so far. Having trouble getting the right glossiness on the windows in Marmoset for some reason, I prefer the glossy darker look I got with Cryengine. Pretty…
i am not sure if this is how i want it to be. I feel i need to work on it more. So please guide me through this as i am a beginner here and show me which areas i need to improve in the door. Never mind the wall. i used ndo for creating the normal map and AO then used ddo for texturing.
