Object color thingy, 3dsmax
Hi all, Does someone know how I can set a default object color when making primitives like boxes, spheres etc so they always are in the same color when created. Thanks -

I'm having a hard time figuring out what is an instance of what in my scene. Is there some easy way to visuzlize all relationships between entities so I can tell what is hooked up to what. I looked for something in the schematic view but wasn't able to find anything. -

3DSMax - Collapse to and Edit_Poly modifier?
Does anyone know of a script/plugin that would make this possible? I'd like to be able to collapse modifiers down to top Edit Poly modifier instead of just the base Editable Poly, but afaik it can't be done by default in Max. -
3dsmax9 and windows7
i installed 3dsmax9 on windows7 and tried to run it in winxp sp3 compatibility mode, but it just starts, opens the tips window '(which doesnt show anything) and then freezes do you know how i can get it to work?
