I'm using a 32 bit PTEX bump map channel and seeing some straight edge artifacts that seem to correspond to borders, perhaps related to the Gigatexel engine? I disabled Gigatexel but the artifacts remain. Anyone know what's causing this or how to fix it?
title pretty much says it all. I was wondering if there is a way to show spec and bump maps in viewports. I've tried looking but can't seem to find any way to show them.
Any bump to normal map converted that may run on a mac? Maybe some Photoshop plugin. xNormal does not and I didn' t find any alternative so far, this is killing me.
Maybe I'm missing something but does anyone know of a way to bake procedural bumps into a normals map using the projection technique? I thought it might be a nice way to add some additional flavor.
