Maybe I'm missing something but does anyone know of a way to bake procedural bumps into a normals map using the projection technique? I thought it might be a nice way to add some additional flavor.

Hmm, last time I checked it did that automatically. I applied a procedural (or maybe it was a bitmap, I can't remember) into the Bump slot of the material that was applied to the high-poly mesh, then just did all the standard stuff for render-to-texture - the resulting normal-map had the extra bump information baked in along with the high poly shapes.

Heh, Pior beat me to it in the correct forum. Shame I don't have power in this section, or I'd have moved this!
