your tiles look good, but the base shape is so perfect and all your tiles have the same size (x4) it looks way too perfect for a medieval environment, but I guess nobody will notice from far. Also are you sure your normals are right for the custom objects ? Inverted green channel ?
I like how most of the textures here "blend" in with each other (color scheme wise) Why not sell packs of matching textures as well at a lower price? :) It'd be way more easier for someone to, for example, download a "Medieval Texture Package (50 HD textures)" then downloading them single-handedly Cheer!
decided to dump torso clothing in favor of chains and added some new kinds of scars. I'm trying to decided what kind of pants I want to give him, ripped shorts are a classic but I'm thinking about giving him some full blown medieval legwear to nail down a time period.
Hey there, keep on trucking. What sort of style are you planning on? I think if you pushed this in a more stylized direction, it could be nice. If you also make it more a themed environment or shop, like a medieval blacksmith, alchemy shop, etc... that would more naturally bring some interesting props to the scene.
It's my first time sculpting a face and I know It's far from done, but I could use some input on what I should improve and why, The rest of the character is also a WIP, so if you have anything to say about it, I'm all ears. (Software: blender 2.93)

Hi everyone. I really like medieval mace and axes, and this contest is a great challenge for practice creating of my favourite weapons. But I want create something holistic, what can open character's nature. Thats why I'll make the set for my character. Tomorrow will be first wip image :poly142:
I just finished this interior shot of a tavern. I hand-painted all the textures. Even though this is in UDK, I wanted it to still maintain a stylized hand-painted feel so I limited my use of the materials editor. So, only diffuse maps and alphas. Still not completely satisfied with it. Any suggestions?
Hi guys, I just started working on an environment for my portfolio. I'm planning to do a medieval landscape with a big castle in the background (shadow of the colossus/ICO style) and some ruins and vegetation in the foreground. I'm currently working on the terrain and trying to setup the mood for it. (CE3) I'll posting my…
