Hey guys! Taking a break from my other character to work on this! I always work better when I have a strong concept to follow and I love this gorgeous work from Kings of the Realm. Just been working on blocking out the forms so far, looking forward to getting into those juicy details.
I've made a idle flying angel animation using xtra bones using 3ds max biped, attached to the spine using the xtra bones box with an arrow on it and by connecting them in skematic view. When I import the Animation into UDK the Wings attach themselves to the root of the biped. Please, how do I fix this?
So what you're saying is I can basically unwrap one ring, copy the unwrapped ring around to match my model and then when I unwrap rest of the model and pack everything together I will just have one ring unwrapped on my actual map? And all the rings will get the texture info from that one ring that I unwrapped?
This is AWESOME!!! :O So many gamers would love to see this fortress/map in Lord of The Rings strategy games(for example The Battle for Middle-Earth 2 or Rise of The Witch-King). So do I Congratulation absolutely perfect!
Nice start there. The ring would need more support imo. A strap over the shoulder or connecting to that shoulder clothing would be nice. Have you started the head at all? The butt could use some refining on the sides, bring it in a little I think.
It is my personal project. Sculpted in Zbrush (using reference from a concept art somewhere on the internet I did remember) Used Zremesher for low-poly model (not quite low poly it was not intended to use in game, perhap UE5 in the future :) ) Baked in Marmoset Texture painted in Painter Set dressed and lighting work in…
Looks like you could remove a lot of polys from the body without changing the shape much, and then add them to the wings where there's not much going on. The wings need more variation in shape to look more organic, right now they look very mechanical.
Thanks dudes! @Chidambhar_Swaroop the body of the gun is on a 2k, the drum magazine is on a 1k and the sling, sling rings and hinges attached on the stock and body is all on a 1024 by 512. The sling acts as accessory for the gun Ill have a breakdown up later today
Hey all! Starting a new project that I'm hoping to take to completion (posed game asset in Marmoset.) Checking out my reference board ( https://www.pinterest.com/gavingoulden/king-of-the-north/ ) you'll get a pretty good idea where I'm going - elaborating on a high fantasy barbarian / viking type character. Will elaborate…
I have here with me a more or less complete trebuchet model, but I'm not sure of the optimal method of rigging it. I want the ropes in the bottom left to move as realistically as possible during launch. The central beam, axles, and counterweight are all linked without any MassFX modifiers The ropes and sling have an mCloth…
