little help or a lot?
Hello there, im kinda new , and i need some help Im trying to render a logo in 3ds, the thing is that i have a white box up on the scene so one object get a nice highlight( yes i already hide the white box from the camera). <u>I want the highlight just in one object</u> , but the floor which has also some reflection shows… -

Update! Decided to go with two colors, and went full decals lol. Everything is on low here, preview lighting build and no post process. I'm gonna see if I can add a few more decals, maybe trash/debris, check some texture, then finish the lighting and post process. I'm looking for a cloud render or render farm type website… -

Hey Hanpan, Here's the process I use, assuming I have my low poly mesh finalized and exactly the way I want it... Within Maya 1) Make SURE you're using ALL quads. Yeah - I've been trying to get a viewport render in maya - but maya doesn't do cast shadows - so i tried upping my diffuse and using mental ray...but mental ray is rendering the shadows of the plane - not the alpha unlike Max's viewport...But Max's viewport - I can't find out how to do the color lights in the viewport...… -

As far as I understand marmoset is a real time renderer which is the biggest thing when showing off assets. It's not like your doing a 10 minute render with mental ray or some nonsense like that it's being rendered out in real time like any other game engine would. You might want to re-render alot of your stuff. the presentation is letting you down. batman is really dark, mostly black. You don't give your models enough space, with images overlapping randomly. Wireframes are particularly hard to make out in this area. Don't render on a black background. Ever. Your clearest render is…
