Hello!

I'm currently making my portfolio and I could use some good critique about what to add or what to change. I'm a programmer but I'm hoping to open myself some doors into the 3D modelling world.

There is no welcome screen cause I'm yet deciding what I want to show in that screen.

In the meantime, good idea to go directly to the gallery, thanks.

I think what Kewop meant was scrap your welcome screen and go straight to the gallery

Right now your enironments are strongest, and the most complete work you have. I've heard not to include incomplete stuff. Those should be in your deviations or scrapbook - but nothing in your portfolio but completed work.

Yeah, no wips, no welcome screens, maybe pay for a domain later dont use the deviant art thing.
And make everything english, i was looking forward to reading the bio, but i couldnt :P

You might want to re-render alot of your stuff. the presentation is letting you down. batman is really dark, mostly black. You don't give your models enough space, with images overlapping randomly. Wireframes are particularly hard to make out in this area. Don't render on a black background. Ever. Your clearest render is the ponytail guy - more like that!

Your work is average at best. A lot of is let down by bad lighting. Again, black backgrounds are a NO NO. It hides shadows and details. I also think you need to work on texturing more or at least render these models in a proper engine. Marmoset, UDK whatever. Right now it's all bland and needs some sexy spec and what not.

It's good to see you expanding from programming though. Shows you have passion for your industry.
