The flickering only seems to happen when the top/sunlit face of the chair is a pixel or two wide from the camera's perspective. Am currently creating hairs for a character in Max 2012/2013 (tried both) using intersecting alphas but as I rotate the camera different alphas pop in front/behind each other. I know it won't do that in the render but it makes it hard to review the hair in the viewport. Anyone have a solution?
I am rendering a tunnel and it has indicator arrows that glow [from a texture input] but they don't produce consistent bloom, instead it periodically strobes/flashes... and nothing is key'd. How can I get better control over glow?

This is happening quite a bit now, when i got to select an object in vertex mode or edge mode, id say 50% of the time when i hold the left mouse to start dragging a box the screen will go blank all i will see it the selection box but nothing inside the scene so its impossible to select anything. Anyone seen this ?
