Maya mental ray render flickering what are good render settings?

Guys, I'm trying to help my girlfriend out with her demo reel rendering issue. She's got a camera pan and when rendering out the result in mental ray everything is flickery on the edges. I'm a still frame guy never rendered anything in motion before so hopefully someone can share their magic settings as she's right down to the wire now for rendering time. I'm pretty sure this is a geometry antialiasing issue not a texture filtering issue, we've turned final gather off temporarily to reduce variables so it's a basic light set up one directional light with ray trace shadows and one ambient light no shadows. Here are the settings I thought would work but we're still having a bit of flicker. Any experts feel free to suggest adjustments to the render globals I'm just going by what I've read online.

Raytrace/Scanline Quality
Adaptive Sampling
Min 0 Max 2

Anti-aliasing Contrast
0.01

Multi-Pixel Filtering
Filter Gauss
Filter Size 3 and 3

All file node textures filter type set to Mipmap
Advanced Elliptical Filtering turned on at level 8
