in the main screen I spawned a teleporter and it warped me to the 5th cell offices so I decided to try placing a nuke with a time bomb next to it. Unfortunately one of the devs must be overly curious and he activated the nuke before I could get away. -

They probably don't want to nuke you but want to keep the possibility available. It generates bad press to nuke your fans but giving them the go-ahead means they no longer have any means of shutting the mod down should it become necessary (e.g. you're competing with SC2 or something). -

Day 5 Messing around with some lighting setups and some basic compositing in nuke (never got around to texture working). tomorrow or Sunday I should have the textures done, and since the lighting setup and nuke script is done, I can just refresh the textures and re-render both shots. -

Funny thing, I always wonder the same thing, what happened to non-violent games? I know I'm not normal in that sense, but when I was a kid pretty much all video-games I played were non-violent. I played GTA 3 when I was 11, and Vice City, SA etc. I used to play Duke Nukem 3D, Doom 2, Heretic, and Witch Haven with my dad and sisters over LAN when I was even younger, aaand I didn't grow up wanting to destroy the world. Heck, blowing each other up with RPGs and BFGs were some of the best memories of family bonding… -
