I’ve been trying to retarget Mixamo animation directly in Unreal Engine but their retargeting options are terrible. So I’m doing the retargeting in Maya LT. I’m able to retarget just fine (created a control rig for both and used the source to transfer the animations) with more than perfect results. Problem is after the…
Hey! One thing I thought of while looking at this again. And this is pure aesthetic personal taste so...feel free to disregard. The wall above the fireplace looks...sad. I mean, imagine this is your room. You have your favourite chair, your books, maybe you bring in some wine to drink while reading in front of a cozy fire.…
Hi. Myself and The Scanner Darkly have decided to give this throne challenge a go under the team name "Item 42". For this environment challenge I thought about the historical significance of the throne. A throne is often a powerful symbol of a state or religious leader's influence. The earliest thrones were used by…
Based on the concept this piece is supposed to be in orbit currently it looks like its attached to the roof of the building I think you need to add atmospherics like clouds and haze to fix the perspective mismatch.
Hey,I recently I noticed this pretty nice feature on the B&Q website (for non UK people out there its a large DIY supplies store), which allows you to create a 3D room in real time by generating procedural walls and dragging and dropping existing models to furnish it. https://www.diy.com/bathroomplanner/ Also has windows…
Hey everyone! Des and I are going to be creating the Hunter's throne, the room where the famous and fierce hunter accepts their visitors and sits to look in pride upon their conquests while enjoying the finer side of life. The environment will be an indoor scene with hand painted textures and a focus on telling a story…
Hello fellow community members. After much debate about entering this I couldnt get it out of my head so I reviewed majority of the work...impressive as always. Sadly I saw my original concept posted and made poopy face, later that evening an epiphany struck me from my slumber and now I am here.....with a week left to…
Looking forward to taking part in my first contest:) All the ideas so far look pretty cool so far. My first instinct was to go for a decadent ancient throne room, but I've decided to go a little left field for this one and use another definition of throne room: the lavatory (or bog in this case) I hope this is still…
Also, (roofs roofs roofs!) in your third image you seem to have quite a chunky roof tile when the building in question has a slate tile roof which is practically flat. You roof looks more like terracotta tiles, again pushing the building towards a Mediterranean feel.
