single sided planes not casting shadows

Crazy glow on side of the screen?
Hey polycounters, I am having some crazy weird glow on the side of my monitor when i am in game preview mode. It isn't there when editing normally but as soon as you press G the glow appears and is realllllly annoying! Anyone else seen this before and if so how did you solve it? Cheers!
