Hello ! I am looking for freelance/outsourcing work, I have a very good grasp of modelling and texturing for hardsurface assets, both for next-gen PBR workflows or mobile. I might also be interested to relocate if the right opportunity arises. Portfolio: www.robertdeleanu.com Contact: justgountil [at] gmail.com
Hey @slosh So by handpainted I meant hand painted pbr workflow with normal+spec and Hand-painted Diffuse(I'm not sure if it's called handpainted pbr) Hence all the sculpted details.
I want to utilize PBR within Unity for a project. However, the environment would be totally without any sun and or natural values. It would be 0 ambient-type values. How would I go about this?
I've found a few posts about people struggling with this in the Support thread, but I'm curious if there's been any 'official' word on this since. I assumed I'd be able to, now that the calibration settings are in, to load up a set of PBR maps and save them out into a metalness profile, but this doesn't seem to work. At…
Hello, looking for some more contract work doing PBR environments and props http://coffeeoutlaw.artstation.com/ message me if interested. pay rates negotiable
It's just physically correct reflectance values for PBR materials. You can use them thru RMB on reflectance color of the any layer and its applied on all maps. In your case just take skin mat then set "Quick PBR", apply color id, mask, duplicate layer and set another reflectance value, mask, color id and so on.
Hello, I created a procedural tileable texture with Substance Designer in concept of derelict space ship walls of Alien movie which is created by H.R. Giger. I baked the height map into the tunnel geometry and added all pbr materials onto. Hope you like it. https://www.artstation.com/artwork/GR211
I've started doing some game dev in Linux, and since I have been waiting for Substance to drop a Linux binary for something like 2 years I've considered going to 3D-Coat for my texturing. However, I can't find any decent systematic tutorials for painting with smart materials and PBR. I'd gladly pay if there were some. Does…
I was wondering if anybody could shed some light on PBR Material Scanners. I've seen a few postings around here about them, I've also heard that the Quixel guys built a custom one for the Megascans that will be available later this year. So far, I could only find this link. It seems more practical for industrial…
