Can PBR still be utilized without a proper lighting environment?

I want to utilize PBR within Unity for a project. However, the environment would be totally without any sun and or natural values. It would be 0 ambient-type values. How would I go about this?

Can you elaborate on what you're trying to achieve?

PBR stands for "Physically based rendering" so if you have zero light you'll have zero reflectance (ie color) of any kind.

So if you want to display anything without light, you're basically not using physically based rendering.

That said, you can still use the ideas and worflow of metalness, roughnes, diffuse, normal maps, etc to create an aesthetic, but it inherently won't be physically accurate.
