hey guys, I did a search over these forums and over at ZBC but I couldn't find anything, does anyone know if there is a way to mirror part of the geometry of a tool, I dont want to smart resym everything because I've got some nice assymetry going, I just want to mirror one part. Does anyone know how to accomplish this?

Anyone know why split to parts might not be working? I've imported an obj model that I exported from Maya into zbrush and each time I've tried to split to similar parts it won't work. I've even tried starting fresh maya scenes and putting a bunch of boxes together and exporting that. Same problem.

I’m modeling a gun for a portfolio piece and it requires multiple parts and I’m trying to figure out how to best combine everything into one scene. Hi! I think ziz makes a good point, the environment would benefit from some more geometric detail. I would look at the silhouette of things, that those don't read overly low res/ facetted.
