im moving from high to low poly now and im not sure how to retopologize these parts.
1. for the zipper, should i include it as part of the low poly mesh or should i make the zipper its own piece? (harder to rig??)
2. in the crotch area, there is cloth that is overlaping that area. should i smooth it out it so that its not overlapping, or should i make the legs a different mesh?

Alternatively you can have the skin as a different mesh and there won't be a rigging issue as long as you space your vertices in between each tooth of the zipper on your lowpoly. I'm going to suggest going this route unless you're trying to go for less than 10k triangles....oh and the bevel on the zipper may be too sharp for the normal map to pick up. looks like a rad model.
