I’m modeling a gun for a portfolio piece and it requires multiple parts and I’m trying to figure out how to best combine everything into one scene. Should I import all of the parts into one scene by exporting and importing them all as .fbx? Sorry if this is a silly question but it’s been stumping me lol thanks for any help!

Yes, you can export all sub-objects as one fbx, and that'll be brought into whatever program as one mesh parent with multiple children of all the individual parts you originally had split.

I mean this in the nicest way possible though, you could easily try this yourself and found the result way faster. Part of learning is trying stuff out yourself, especially super simple ones as this 😉
