Hello, I am an art student and fairly new to 3D. My interest is in character modeling and texturing. I was hoping I could get some critique on my portfolio and advice on how I could improve it? Thank you so much in advance!

Hey all, I am relatively new to modeling and I just had a few questions pertaining to online portfolios. I apologize if this has been asked before. First off, I notice a ton of you guys have portfolios filled with exquisite work..much better work than I could ever hope to make. How long does it take to create a portfolio?…
I see a lot of very nice portfolio sites with their models rendered in a really clean way. What do you usually do when you render a model for a 2D portfolio image? Also I'm getting transparency sorting issues with my model.

Hello , I would like to get some feedback on my portfolio and see where I could improve and things that should no longer be on my portfolio. I am specializing more towards being a Materials/Texture artist and an Environment Artist. http://martinpietras.weebly.com/
