excellent work man, this looks great. i actually just bought some Super Sculpey on the weekend, from the only shop in the UK that I can find it at... also the only shop I know that sells Pantone Tria markers My character bust only about 3" tall though, so I won't be able to get it that detailed... keep it up, looks great…
hi @Noth, yes highpolys are zbrush. I don't use GoZ; just because I haven't bothered to research it, lol. For hardsurface and pretty much everything I use a subdiv workflow. I don't normally do 2d concepts, I just have ideas in my head and gather refs. Top 5 tools... I'm not even sure if I have five; it's zbrush, modo,…

The biggest thing that jumping out at me that needs attention are the eyes. They just seem too big and too far apart. Also they are too wide open and the eyelids need relaxing. Intervain mentioned this on the previous page. Everything else seems to be coming along ok. But eyes are one of the most important parts of…
Posting this here to mostly just keep track of my own thoughts as I try to work through this. I want to make a little character creator for a dragon in Unreal Engine where users can flick through different body parts like horns, spikes, wings etc. As well as being able to select body colour and different markings. I've…

I've been messing around with this thing off and on for the past few months and it's seriously bugging me. I can't quite get it looking feminine while retaining the evil old witch look. I've looked at lots of reference pictures and even at some old women in in person and I still can't quite pinpoint what exactly I'm doing…
Totally agree! Stepping outside your comfort zone is exactly how you push your boundaries and level up. You can't be afraid of the learning curve or of growing. =) Honestly, I went through the exact same thing with my own dragon sculpt. I think I started over like 5 times because I just kept looking at it like, "ish, this…
Hey guys, I just wanted to share, and hopefully get some advice on one of my projects for uni. The assignment was to model a humanoid head with proper topology and texturing and finally create a realistic rendering. I've never actually modeled a human head before, so this whole thing is a first attempt. I'm actually really…
I created this Batman bust as a personal project in my spare time. The idea was to create a bust for printing and this inspiration came through the lives of artist Alvaro Ribeiro. I did everything using zbrush and the rendering was done in Maya using Arnold and composed in photoshop. Hope you like!
