For my scene over in P&P I've been using a temporary light setup of 1 Dominant Directional light. It was something that A.) I could get to bake and B.) Was enough for me to see the environment as I worked. This week I am putting emphasis on establishing that scenes atmosphere and I am tryin gto get NON dominant lights to…
Hey there, I've been getting back into modelling after a couple years' hiatus (making good on all the free student versions of stuff while I still can), and that's left me considerably out of the loop tech-wise. I'm wondering if there's any UV unwrapping / packing tools that give the option of allowing for non-uniform…

Anyone have a better solution than temporarily converting everything to .tga.

I am having trouble understanding the real shape of the bones when i try to make them, since i dont have anything to see and touch it's really hard…
Little update--I'm moving into a new apartment so I haven't had much time to work. I cooked this up, because i needed a 'realism' equivalent to the fire flowers...and i thought mario was just too boring with no props or anything. Gonna give him a big stogie too. That always adds class. Here's some highres shots, havent…
