RE: Head/Hair bones and head bob

Hi guys,

Im currently working on a single piece for VS its a head piece and using the pre-existing hair (albeit with bits chopped off), I have bound the object to the head but im having difficulty mirroring the "head bob" animation or free flowing look" that the original hair has, so my question is how do I do this when I append the hair from default files it has an armature active? but not applied? Everything I have tried doesn't work out as I had intended currently using blender for this.

Any help appreciated even just pointing me to a tutorial/'s as this is unfamiliar ground for a mere mortal (rookie)
