I've had this on two models now. I'm rather new to riggging and skinning but I can't figure out what I'm doing wrong here. Model was xformed before rigging and adding skin modifier. Hi all, Have you used the mirror mode in Skin modifier with Max 2011? I just cannot get it to work, everything is centered and xform is reset, I have used the mirror tresh value to get rid of all the red points etc. - yet it doesn't mirror anything. ever. Could this be a problem with 2011 64-bit or have you got it working?
Hi guys, I am working on a scene, where a symmetry modifier seems to crash the scene 80% of the time. Not just on 1 object, but on any object in the scene. All models are low res game stuff. A few textured cubes etc I have not have this issue before. Do any of you know what could cause it?

In Silo I find myself using "local move" a lot, and I'm really missing it in Maya. I believe the Max push modifier does the same thing. I'm the only one who hates the transparency of the Cage on the Projection modifier when the Shaded checker is activated? There isn't a way to give some color or make it less transparent (some option or script)? Is hard to see the area covered by the Cage with that opacity.
