Where are the "Groups" in cloth modifier?
Hello, at the moment i see the "Animating a chain in 3dsmax" tutorial. http://eat3d.com/free/animate_chain he makes groups in the clothmodifier? I have made the same, in 3dsmax2015, but i cant see "Groups" in the Cloth Modifier? Somebody have the same problem? Greetings Farina -
[Zbrush] Projection Strength modifier Grayed
I'm trying to generate Hair cards. The "Projection Strength" slider under Brush>Modifiers> is grayed out, now allowing me to set the hair card to conform to the surface on which the curve is being drawn. Does anybody have any idea why this might be the case? -
"shell modifier" in XSI/Maya?
My question is pretty straightforward. Is there a "shell modifier" in XSI and Maya like in 3DS Max? I am just watching the Alec Moody video on making the brief case, and he uses this to add thickness to an empty shell. I am curious about how to do this in XSI/Maya, because I never knew something like this existed. -
Modify original model
Hi, I posted here a few days ago regarding an issue I had. Someone told me I couldn't modify the original mesh and that I'd need to build my item over it. Re: Chamfer Modifier
Pretty cool. Another way of doing it without an extra dialog window would be to add a 'chamfer by smoothing groups' checkbox in the chamfer modifier, where it only chamfers 'hard' edges. Then you just set SGs to your basemesh and get the chamfering done with no extra effort. I suppose this won't be free? Been waiting for a… -
Path Deformer modifier spacing problem
Hey guys and gals, I've got a wee problem with the spacing of a roller coaster track I'm trying to make. I'm using the Pathe Deform (WSM) modifier method. But the spacing is all weird with stretching happening in some parts of the track. I'm on 3dsmax 2015 SP2. -

3ds Max CAT: Adding 'Skin' modifier after rigging causes bones in hand to go haywire
I've had this on two models now. I'm rather new to riggging and skinning but I can't figure out what I'm doing wrong here. Model was xformed before rigging and adding skin modifier.
