Here is my entry for the Retrogasm Art Contest a few months ago. I had some things come up so I couldn't submit the work to the contest on time, but I didn't want to give up on it. I learned a lot and there are some things in retrospect I think I could still fix, but I'm very happy with this result and I'm ready to move on.
It's been YEARS since I've modelled a character. I did the modelling but the texture was done by our Art Director. Well, ex-Art Director. He got poached by another studio But yeah! It's for our tactical JRPG, Children of Zodiarcs. I'm starting work on another model so I'll create a thread for that. This one is waaay too high poly (~4000 tris) but I see<br> a bunch of ways to optimize it so it'll be better next time.
Made a new character for my personal universe. This guy is sort of a bad guy, he just doesn't know it. By default, Sneeze is a cute and innocent cat. Once Finlay remotely activates Sneeze's respiratory suit, toxins will be released and Sneeze will enter an allergic frenzy. As a result, Sneeze transforms from a cute and innocent cat into a massive and dangerous brute of his former self.
Liked episode VII and decided to make Kylo's lightsaber. Forced myself to get out of my comfort zone (see what I did there? Hurhurhur) Bit rusty on high poly modeling, so it took about 8-10 hours start to finish. Viewer files here: https://www.artstation.com/artwork/RLgZv
Finally I'd call it done. Sculpt, Topology, painted in 3D Coat. Rigged and posed in Blender3D
Any comment are appreciated *sorry for a quick sloppy screen grab from Sketchfab!! I'll do the presentation better next time! Link to realtime model >>> https://skfb.ly/Jyou on sketchfab
Cubone sculpt done for the Pokemon mini challenge in the character art thread this month. Zbrush for the sculpt, Keyshot for the render, and Photoshop for tweaks.

Currently working on a concept/paintover for a larger personal project, wanted to get it done before christmas but no-go Never done to much drawing though so it's coming together slowly.
@Baj Dat hair though! Really interested to see the game res of that! @Kigyar Looks cool! I'm liking the UI you have going
Working on a scifi scene that I wanted to get finished by Christmas, it's based on a concept for Halo 5 by James Paick. A little changes here and there to put my touch on it, it's been pretty fun so far! (Those diagonal columns in the first screen's lights need to be changed, too much light happening)
