but IMO as a chinese myself, i don't see that VS set has any weird conflict.
(except for me i think is too blend in with shanghai's society i personal prefer sticking with dragonus/VS race's fashion)
Thanks guys. I was worry about the hat too, decided to take it down but it seems very fit for her overall, so i'll just show it or make a aft style for it, will fix if valve have any problem. I dessigned it base on those refs, dunno if it a " mix cultural concepts in your designs" thing

It happens for me sometimes, changing the names of model files usually helps

I would make the mesh-thing manually in the texture and just mirror it a lot (maybe in an octagon or a hexagon shape) to get maximum uv space possible for the alpha.

Unfortunately I couldn't get the transparency to work on the wings because of the way the textures are merged when the items are loaded in game. Valve has the power to use transparency on items but for now we don't. Maybe with the engine update coming this year we'll have access to that but they do it for performance reasons so I'm not sure.

Mmmmm they're not thaaaat similar, other than how they both have pink leaves. Cotton's is all about the peaches, whilst yours has lanterns and coins.
I think any set submitted will instantly have to compete with other sets made for that same hero anyway, so in a way any treant ideas at all are going to be competing.

If you're looking to make goofy stuff, you shouldn't really send it to the workshop instead give it as a custom mod. If you make goofy things, there will be little to no chance in getting the item ingame.

A: Chances are that it didn't meet one, or several, or possibly all of the guidelines listed below:
Obscenity: We will automatically reject any obscene items. (Don't even bother.)
