Ah yeah, I knew about upgrading the armor, I just got in a rut where literally everything I have is maxed out, except my purple(legendary?) boots. I even maxed out my Void class and I'm half way with my Sunsinger. I'm lacking 3 ascendant materials for my boots, which I usually get from the postmaster after a daily gold tier in a public event. I've heard a lot about getting good stuff from Crucible and I've played it a bit, I just never got into it as much as I'd like. Still not a fan of the jet packs and abilities in multiplayer. That was one of the main reasons I stopped playing Reach.
@almighty_gir when are you typically on? I've been playing usually after I get back from work at 7ish and unfortunately that seems to be the time when most of my friends that are around my level (24) are offline :P

Having a lot of fun with the game! Capped my Vanguard currency yesterday and finally ranked up to 2 with Vanguard! Just need to wait til weekly reset to get the rest of the points i need to buy some new legs
My only complaint is that all of the armor feels virtually the same, and I don't feel like I can make meaningful choices. Maybe I need to find more Purples, but the biggest choice I find myself making is "i don't use that weapon, don't need that ammo." Even the Exotics I've seen on people seem the same fundamentally. The queen event is a special, limited time event, I would have thought the armor from the event would have some interesting effects other than being super purple. Maybe diversity isn't the goal, but for an ARPG I don't feel like I have enough meaningful choices (or sacrifices) to make when finding the right armor per slot.
I do not feel the same about weapons! I like that the guns have various fun effects. Not sure if it is intentional, but I have one gun that explodes on impact (awesome!!!), but it significantly drops the damage the gun does per shot, and doesn't say that anywhere. It may end up being slightly more (maybe?), but find its not better than the random bullet does more damage scout rifle. It also doesn't count as solar damage when it explodes

Titan is great fun, and bring some utility (and trolling! zomg why does the shield block bullets!), just wish it would be reported on the scorecard On the shield, should treat it like a guildwars 2 elementalist firewall! let it do stuff to projectiles that pass through, and don't block grenades with it, ugh. Imagine it'd be a little too OP being able to sit in it and shoot out, but without a visible timer it would be fun and give more visible function to the Titan/Defender.
Love the damage bonuses on missions, I've been collecting good weapons of each type to be effective all the time! Two shot the final boss(es) with a void rocket on a queen mission!

You should be able to join and it's open so no request stuff as far as I know, once you have joined a button should appear to 'set as xbox/playstation clan' that will make it show up in game under your name.

dunno if it shows it, but i have Thorn (hand canon exotic) and Invective (shotgun exotic) as well.
It is SO good.
Unlimited ammo, headshots do like 6000 damage.
I solo'd the level 28 Weekly Strike this week because of Solar Burn. I was critting mobs for over 10,000 damage.
I think I solo killed the boss with ~20 shots from the sniper.
