This looks to be the correct place for our first post. I'm a traditional artist diving into the 3D realm. I'm really getting serious and want to get a reputation within this community. Thanks and hope to post some work and get some crits!
I've done mapping for Source Engine (TF2, L4D) and UnrealEd (UT2k4). I have very little modelling experience, but give tons of feedback (probably too much!)
Feel free to PM me if you want my constructive criticism.
Hello!
I'm Alex! It's great to be around, I've been waiting for the right opportunity to join Polycount, and the DOTA 2 competition is to blame for this.
As for myself, I am currently finishing my degree ( third year ), studying to become a 3D artist at a University in Southampton, UK, called Solent.
I honestly hope I'll get te inspiration and feedback around here, to produce some 3d worthy of this fine forum.
Cheers!
Alex
Hi, I am a 3D artist based in the coastal North West of the UK. I have gained a BA Honours in Games Design, a PGCE and a Masters in Animation. I have also worked at Sony's Evolution Studios on Motorstorm DLC and Motorstorm Pacific Rift and taught 3D at Foundation level. Currently I am working on improving my portfolio for the games industry, particularly my low polygon, texturing and normal mapping skills. I am hoping for guidance and criticism of my 3D work with a view to specific areas I need to focus on. It will be great to learn from the community and meet fellow artists!

Ive started making items for dota 2 and TF2 as a hobby and I could use the support this forum offers
