Thank guys! Yes this is just a piece of a scene that Im working on right now. Once I have more I will start a thread but I just wanted to show some of my progress
Well I finally got some assets into UDK, mainly to start blocking out the BSP geo and to start playing around with the editor itself. Starting to shape up quite nicely, although still WAY too much to do for this project I have a feeling that it will be someone ongoing for a while, but it will be a good motivation to continue finishing artwork.
Keep in mind the screenshot is a nasty UDK editor shot
Super - coming along nice. not sure about the nose is ok, but perhaps could be pushed a bit more. bridge needs more depth to separate it from the main face a bit more
ferg, great stuff, bags of style
Mr Bear - I am liking the atmosphere in that scene
Orgoth02 - that robot arm looks great, glad you're making a whole scene out of it. Thought about making a thread for the project?
lol thanks Honkey, I think? Ruz also
woke up this morning and realized I made a timelapse of it and forgot... so here it is in case you really want to watch me sloppily mess up a basemesh in fast forward.
I've been working on this for the past couple of days. Still got a lot do. I plan on making several alternatives for the stock and the sights. Any comments?
Orgoth02 - That scene is looking tasty, I demand a thread ASAP
Still chugging away at UDK, this is my first real attempt to create something within it and I think I am a little overwhelmed. Picture is a shitty viewport grab with some photoshop love to give it the "feel" I am going for. Still tons of work to do, so ignore the obvious ugly-ness :poly136:
Took a little break from my UDK environment to start a mini-environment sculpt for the weekly challenge. Figured I'd post my progress here as well, crits gladly welcomed
JoshuaC - I too have yet to play TF2, but the style is always pleasant on the eyes:) Your gun is awesome.
Ravenslayer - pandapigletbaconstrips eyes are adorable...yet I can't help to think of its terrible future, it's terribly delicious future:) (lame joke, i know)
Vrav - I dunno know whats going, but I'm laughing. Is there a reference in your strip and the original that I'm missing?
So I've been wanting to create the moon machine (cooker) from Wallace and Gromit for a while. I made it a long time ago very high poly and without any thought for game use. So I decided to remake it with game principles in mind.
I'm worried that it's too high poly (I can't really see where I can lower it any more) and that the face of him is to messy. But in order to keep everything quads that was the best I could do.
I will bake extra detail such as the "gaps" like I have in my old high poly model:
I'll also make some other stuff from the scene like the rocket and stuff:
ENODMI - coming along nicely! A few things: her knees seem a little small, and her thighs seem oddly shaped from this angle (mostly seeing that with the leg on the right...I think it's due in part to the placement of the quadriceps)...the shin on that same leg seems to be curving inward a little too much...and her jaw looks like it's detached from the neck a bit, due to the strong, sharp edge continuing right up to the earlobe.

s0id3 - Very nice, you should put this baby inside UDK. These are viewport shots, no?
here's some wippage from me

That's nice looking. Mind posting the wireframe?
That's cause it's a TF2 model.
Finished with the render.
Ahhh didn't notice that. I'm not a TF2 player so I didn't recognize it. Well then, looks great!
