Finally met Casey Jones. A lot of new faces, but awesome. I am old so I went home before the photo (it was after 9pm!)-- would have been cool to meet Tek-- maybe next year
It was kind of creepy though since I am the same general size and shape as that dude, although of course much much cooler-- you should see my stare, I am intense.
Just wanted to say that was pretty amazing- I had a great time. Turbo was amazing, I wish I had known what was happening and video recorded it. Special thanks to whoever found leftys, it really ended up working out for everyone.
I managed to run into him in the south building, so I had to get a picture. I talked to him, thanked him for the beers last night, and he played along just looking slightly confused. As I was walking away I heard him say to the guy he was with "man, what was that all about?"
I wonder how long it will be before the gears in his head finish rotation and he remembers why he had such a colossal bar tab...
He's clearly uncomfortable taking the picture...no idea what my excuse is for looking retarded, I think I was mid sentence when the picture was snapped...

Great time, I want to time travel to gdc 2011 right now. Made some sweet connections and new friends. Hanging with emil, tek, gauss, and everyone was the shit. this was making me think. i would like to be more active in the PC community, its my favourite CG/Games related forum. theres loads of cool , nice people. most of what i learnt i learnt it from here and i jsut want to be more involved. i haven't even ever posted my artwork on here because of a really bad lack of confidence in myself and my artwork. i really need to start networking and building up my confidence so i was thinking would anyone want to do a meet this year in the U.K? should i start a thread?
Start a thread, get feedback, no piece is perfect, everyone has been at the exact same play you are. PC is a great community that really tries to help people become better artists, but we can be pretty blunt.
