Like Ryan said guys, money can't be accepted for this. Since Blizzard, Naughty Dog and a few others allowed them to use work and pipeline stuff because this would be free there can't be any money exchanged.
Just a last min thing here but I am going to GDC again this year and will be bringing a prototype of the book with me on the Ipad. Probably will show it off at the polycount meet up. Maybe that will spark some of you to show up to the meet up.

Which day of the meetup are you going? I'm believe I may be going to the Thursday one now and it'd be quite fancy to get a peek at this.

Oh you bastard, such a tease
This looks amazing and to echo what's been said before, I'd happily donate to pay for a print run. There should be a way of doing it without running into problems with licensing if it's done as a non-profit venture... I hope
Sorry to be a tease it only seems right that I bring it with me to show people it does really exist. I am leaning towards just going to both Polycount meet up days, Just will have to see what my plans are when I am there. Things change so much at GDC.

Perhaps for future issues.
Yup, pretty sure if this became a money thing our articles would have to be pulled unfortunately. We were given the OK because it was free and there is a big headache when it comes to other people making money off your companys franchies/with there name attached. Even if I didnt care, ND marketing/presidents and Sony marketing/presidents almost certainly would have a problem with it, as most company's do when it comes to protecting there IP's and the people who make money off them.
Super glad Ryan was able to get this whole thing started and rolling. It was really cool to write up an article for it and skimming through the whole thing it is amamzing the amount of work all the work everyone put in. Big pat on the back to all the guys who contributed too this, cant wait to sit down and read it all and absorb massive amounts of knowledge!
In Tor's Article he talks about his process in making this piece and some tricks along the way that help him reach the quality he wants. From High to Low to in game (UDK) Tor shares some of his workflow with you.

ryan man, you and the other guys making this are awesome for doing this, i'm sure every single game art school is going to use this as a reference from the moment it comes out
