We'll start by just drawing a piece everyday, and it can be digital or traditional. Then we'll start to work in some sweet themes to challenge ourselfs! ex. robots, chicks etc.

1 embed maximum (1 image, or 1 video, or 1 gif, etc.)
Anim GIFs must be less than 2 mb
Externally-hosted images must be less than 500 kb
Uploaded images must not exceed 1000 pixels in any dimension
Don't upload PNG, use JPG
Breaking these rules may cause merciless editing by a Moderator

@Donneisha_Spriggs - Welcome! For hair, I might suggest blocking in a the head in rough form so that your hair has context. IMO, hair is all about the major forms... so it's hard to understand hair as forms without the form that it lays on. Similar to clothes... you can study pinches and folds, but you need to contextualize them to really understand cloth as a subject. Good luck!

Experimenting drawing on glossy photo printing paper which has some unique properties

Cant use pencil to sketch - forces committing to inks straight away
Ink dries quickly and is a rich black
using markers over ink lines can only take one or two passes before it pulls the ink off the paper, which can give a cool effects (need to experiment more with this)
Light reflections can give nice texture effects using different ink types.

Anyway, its fun and forces you to commit to lines. I'll be doing more of this, got loads of spare photo printing paper.

Currently doing Inktober. Made it to day 4 (a record for me, i think). This year i'm doing stills from movies that have had an impact on who i am and what i do. I'm doing them all with ink and/or markers on glossy photo printing paper.

You can find the individual images on my Instagram (daily posts) or artstation (posting every 4 days). links in sig.

Anyone else having a crack at it?
