We'll start by just drawing a piece everyday, and it can be digital or traditional. Then we'll start to work in some sweet themes to challenge ourselfs! ex. robots, chicks etc.

I like that if you can see pretty clearly where Star Wars got it's design choices from when you look up samurai armor. Cool sketches.
I have watched to much and listen to Space Dandy. Soundtrack is to dandy for me.
NICE!
With a quick shading in PS.
Of course of a bunch of chicks first...

This became a place for more than "sketches" a long time ago. If it's 2D, post it up. I hardly think people can complain about seeing more work.
started new peace for a contest
Man I love the Claws and Tusks images, but the link won't work for me?
sick dude.
reminds me of ergo proxy mixed in with some reavers from firefly.
pretty badass dude.
Im not aware of many concept forums apart from concept.org that will give feedback, but i just want to share a painting i have done in Photoshop. This is around my 8th proper try at doing paintings - the previous pieces are ok, but just thought i would share this. Please let me know your thoughts and what works and what does not i had difficulty with the buildings mainly and when to put detail in and when not to!
And then some late night sketching, realized I probably should do more studies halfway through:
Last night thumbs:
Eric that hover sailer is freaking gorgeous!
And to the rest nice stuff guys.
I might join up on this thread, time to pick up some more working, lazy me. some mini value practices. Tell me if you like anyone and I might make one more fleshed out piece.
couldn't let it go, apparently I stopped working on it too soon ... spend another 5mins fixing colors/brushwork. That'll teach me posting stuff too soon :P
Here are some of my warm-up sketches:
Amazing SSS on my orange.
Masterstudy after Seignac
Portrait warmup
The inside joke: Professional 2D Environment artists could also be called "Professional stick salesmen painters" due the amount of tiny-humanoids-with-sticks-for-scale painted.
Some thumbs.

Another warm-up sketch from this morning:
Partly from photoref, mixed with inspiration from some of my fav paintings
That's YOU!
I'm the the inept asshat who accidentally submitted a close up instead of the whole piece some time ago. I don't know why I've not followed your blog before, but I lost the url and didn't look up to linkback fearing people could wrongly think I run the blog, what is untruth. Guys, check his tumblr, it's awesome!
@Allan He's the person who made the original brilliant joke!

Just to say I've actually posted a sketch:
I lack patience.

Haha, yep! The blog went "viral" for a short while (got tons of submissions) and then died down. Haven't gotten any submissions for a while now, but it was good fun while it lasted :P
Small world! Great sketches! Your work overall is very impressive.
Today's speedy: one of my favorite GoT characters, Bronn ...
Update, spend more time on the face, added some noise, etc
Some stuff:
The brush system is very easy built - on the first view.
Changing the bristle size and numbers and bias leads you to thousands variations.
A few bristles and thin bristle size and you an amazing strong hair brush.
I used only brush 2 in variations for this portrait.
The bump is always painting with you, adding shadows for you.
And due to the fact, that this is a dynamic fluid simulation, real smoke was done in exactly 42 seconds
I'd love to hear some feedback on this. Really trying to simplify, get a bit of style in there, and nail the light/colours fast and efficiently!
An hour and fifteen minutes last night:
Result from stream #1. Not very pleased with this but hey!
