crazyfool, great sculpts. The style of that character brings something to mind... possibly half way between Mr. Incredible and the TF2 heavy
Goeddy, really nice looking, but that seam at the front is very visible. Also this is unlit right? it could do with some heavier baked lighting info and tonal variation in the fur I think.
Great rocks Glode! Love them! What's your workflow for them? I've tried a few without much luck going Sphere > Move Brush > Planar > Remesh > General cutting, polishing, then noising it up. Do you start with a basemesh or a ZBrush primitive?

yes it has completly mirrored uv´s
and yes its unlit, has no normal anyway :P
but good point with the light, i think ima bake a bit of skylight onto him. also maby increase the intensity of the color correction layer.
@snader
nice one, but actally my refence was that monkey from pirates of the caribian. gues they are the same race anyway^^
SaferDan: I would be careful with the center of gravity on your vehicle, to me, it looks like it would simply fall on its back right now with all the weight behind.
@biofrost... liking the scene so far....been wanting to dabble about in building a simple sci fi scene in udk but i cant seem to pick it off due to lack of creativity for a scene :S....
been working on my mech until now...slow progress on it....now atm decided to try my first time in hand painting textures following the amazing 3dmotive tut.....started out at first by following similar styles to the video but now im starting to just do it as i kinda see just to dip my hands in this so i actually learn something instead of copy off a tut
fantastic work everyone a quick stylised squibble from me
and a timelapse of a 2 hour saruman study after watching all the fellowship making ofs lol, beards pretty shitty but I was concentrating mostly on the likeness as the beard is pretty much just a proxy mesh

So sick!
Your sculpts are always on point man.
Heres some work from me.
Remake of the Snark Bug Grenade
Toxic, that's really impressive. I swear, had you not said anything, I would have bet money that it was all normal mapped. Can't wait to see the final scene.

Because this needs to be on this page too! Great job man. Loads of style in your first one. Saruman looks cool too, but I get the impression his head isn't long or thin enough. But the resemblance is definitely there!
You guys keep putting some awesome looking stuff on here =D finished the texture on my axe, trying to figure out marmosets render settings, so here is just a print screen for know from marmoset before I finish for the day.

Thanks for the reply! It's not my vehicle! It's from Brink! Here is the concept art -
But I totally get what you mean maybe I should make the container smaller or something!
Pretty happy with this one, all textures hand painted after the sculpt and a slight wood grain overlay was added to help things settle down. On to something else :-)
yes, i didn't have a good front view ref pic of chunli and had been working from different angle pics of her and it wasn't working out so well. @Ilkosan was kind enough to post some great reference pics of cammy to use for the kind of body i was after, so cammy is the new ref for the body shape
will try and tweak it more later to chunli as some people mention chunli has bigger thighs, and also there are some differences between the two figures.
heres what i had as a reference originally:
i couldnt find a front view of her in this figure..
toxic_h2o - God man your texturing style is so refreshing. Can't wait to see that completed. CodeFather - Cool, what do you paint in?
4 hour practice sculpt this morning of Sabrina a Pokemon gym leader.May do her main Pokemon Alakazam for fun tomorrow morning.
EiGHT: I think you need more upper eyelid on the eyes. Seems like your loosing too much of it to emphasize the largeness of the eyes. You might also want to try bringing them a little closer together. I know your going for the anime look, but some translation must be done to bring such a stylized 2d design into 3d. In the case of your nose, I think you've been much more successful in finding that medium, though the bridge of it is looking a bit wide. Try gathering a ton of ref on the anime maquettes that are out there. Those guys have mastered that translation.
Thanks again Benji and Snader for the help. I've added the loops you guys suggested, cleaned up the wire, and made it 4 sided. I baked my AO and NM in Max and got mixed results. The top panel where I baked all that geo into the surface came out looking extremely flat. Do I need to float this geo off the surface when I bake it? I've never done floating geo so I'll look into it if this is the case.

Rendered her out in Zbrush with a few passes and compiled it in Photoshop.
Got some minor work done for my DeusEX scene. Still blocking stuff in but I can't help my self from texturing.
I dig it! Very cool costume
